Welcome to Mina Foundation

Poor health can limit one's ability. At Mina Foundation, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life, social connections, and well-being for carers and communities living with a chronic condition.

Our Mission

To empower and equip carers, individuals and communities with the necessary skills, knowledge and information to lead fairer, happier and healthier lives.

Our Aim

To address inequalities, financial hardship and provide opportunities for inclusion by working in partnership with everyone.

Our Work

Providing supportive interventions that help to build and strengthen resilience, enhance quality of life and to achieve economic stability.

Giving Hope , Creating Resilience

Mina Foundation was founded and established in 2023.

Our mission is to empower carers, individuals and communities to lead happier and healthier lives.

We are a volunteer carer led community organisation, bringing individuals together who have personal and lived experiences in caring for family members with complex health conditions such as congestive heart and renal failure.

Poor health can limit one's abilities and we need to recognise more work needs to be undertaken to address inequalities relating to people in, and approaching later life.

We believe in helping people who face cultural and socioeconomic barriers, and may have to make significant changes in their lives, after receiving a diagnoses, and those who provide care including unpaid and young carers

Our approach is culturally sensitive and we provide support, information, engagement to carers and families who are disproportionately impacted by a health condition.

Our overarching goal is to help build resilience, enhance their quality of life, foster social connections, and achieve economic stability for carers and families going through these changes.

Our aims

Engage carers & communities to raise awareness and impact of chronic conditions.

Promote healthy behaviours through actions, to improve the physical and mental wellbeing for carers, individuals and communities.

Tackle inequalities, financial hardship and provide opportunities for inclusion and participation by working in partnership with everyone.
